Crossing to safety

Fifty-seven exams and sixteen final papers stand between the summer and me.

I’ve devoted the morning not to these but to an administrative project that I’d been neglecting; another hour or so on that, and I can wade into the exams and papers.  Forty-nine of the exams had a multiple-choice component, scored by Scantron, so that part is done already.  There needs to be a bit of a curve on those, and I need to decide how to handle that.

When all that is done, we have one more day of class meetings to hand back exams and give final grades, and then one more day of meetings, etc.

  1. The end is in sight — good luck with the grading! I finished grading my exams on Saturday while proctoring the SAT II test — how our lives have changed!
