Daylight Savings Time ended in the U.S. this weekend, and a day of pleasant discoveries that it was earlier than one expected has culminated with a plunge into total dark by 6 P.M. Yawn. We were visiting Stubb (who’s working out of town 2-3 hours away, depending on traffic and pit stops) and ended up staying up quite late on Saturday. Then, of course, I woke up at 6 A.M. anyway on Sunday. Ah well. There was coffee, and I graded two sets of quizzes and did some class prep before the others woke up.
It’s early still, but I’m running out of steam. I think it’s a night to hit the sack early and get up early in the morning (which probably won’t be hard). The Snork Maiden had quite a lot of homework, but she tackled it cheerfully when we got home and seems to be more or less on top of it now.
